About Me

I’m Alison Grayson (she/they) , an artist, a Grief and End of Life Doula, a OHA Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator, a Storyteller, and overall conduit of transformation and creation. I am based out of Portland OR, on the land of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla peoples.

As an artist, my work pulls from multiple realms, with many of my pieces combining the painting of an entity with the power of carved skulls. In this process, I believe that my responsibility is to listen and honor, and not to dictate.  Each design is unplanned and unique to the creation's voice, with the elements being carved or painted  as they reveal themselves.  My work is driven by principals of animism, and strives to create deeper relationships within ourselves in connection with our inner power, the natural world, and the transformational elements of death and rebirth.

My path towards Grief and End of Life Doula services and Psilocybin Facilitation began with my (very unplanned) relationship to death, trauma release, and transformation through my art. As I continued to dive deep with the skulls, I started to witness a deep shift in my perception of death, life, and how to live my fullest life though connection and relationship within myself, others, and both the physical and the unseen world around us. My background is that of a storyteller who has traveled the world and had the honor of helping amazing people from all different cultures and walks of life share their stories, and I believe that the stories we share and craft our reality with are of the utmost importance. I am honored, both in my art and my coaching, to be weaving together these stories of life and death, joy and grief, and to be able to work in between worlds.
